I love The Journal! It allows me to organize, catalog, and date a variety of documents, keeping them all together in one place for easy access. I no longer have to browse through multiple Windows folders searching for documents, opening one file at a time. Now I can organize my files by subject matter and keep them together, create indexes and tables of contents that allow me to jump directly to the data I need. The Journal looks just like the notebook, with tabbed indexes, which I can group into categories, making everything pertaining to my writing life simpler. I've been fantasizing about a program like this for years, and now I've found it! I recommend it to anyone who writes, whether you are keeping a personal journal, writing your memoirs, working on a screenplay, or creating a novel. The program includes several dictionaries, and a better-than-average thesaurus, a built-in calendar, and many more features. Add-ins, such as writing prompts and templates, are available for a very reasonable price, and many are available free from the web site.
